Safety rules
We are posting some basic rules to follow when doing tool work.
Below you will find selection tables.
General principles:
These recommendations reflect the current art of proper tool use. Their observance cannot be considered sufficient in the event of improper use of the tool. They are in addition to the precautions that each user should follow in accordance with the rules and customs of his industry and company, as well as the regulations of various countries, and cannot act as a substitute for the above.
Protect your health!
Wear safety glasses: during all work (splinters, filings or debris, light flashes, UV radiation, etc.).
Wear gloves: To protect yourself during all types of work from injury, shock, burns, etc.
Electricity - tools with 1000 V insulation
Never perform live work on or near live wires without 1000-volt insulated tools.
Only these tools provide the insulation needed for live work. The plastic handle handles of other tools are not made of insulating materials.
Choose your tools accordingly!
Use well-chosen tools. Each tool is designed for specific tasks.
Do not use a tool for work for which it is not designed. Only a well-chosen tool ensures safety, convenience and efficiency in your work.
Don't play tinkerer. Don't rework the tool (by grinding, welding or excessive heating). This can change its technical parameters and make it more susceptible to damage.
Do not use any extension cords... Don't use the tool beyond its rated capacity, either by using extension cords not suitable extension cords, or by beating unsuitable tools.
Maintain your tools!
Take care of the cleanliness of the tool! Tools should be cleaned to avoid the possibility of the tool slipping out of your hand, and to ensure a firm grip in your hand. Before use, inspect the tool carefully, it must not show any defect (excessive wear, chipping, etc.). Some mechanisms should be cleaned and lubricated regularly. Observe and keep the operating instructions. If you use a repair kit, use all its parts.
Make the right moves!
Take care of your balance, especially when working under tension (unscrewing, stretching, etc.). Watch your back when lifting weights (keep your back straight, legs bent, etc.).
